Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is a soccer video game by Konami in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. The predecessor title in this series made a huge success and the new title promises to meet the expectations head-on. The title is slated for an October 17th 2008 release and will be available on all major platforms.

Game Play

The title will have a much more revamped game play compared to the earlier Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 title. Key improvements are made in the TeamVision system – which makes tactics becoming dynamic as they evolve according to the situation, better AI, better physics and much added dynamism in the ball movement area. The ball movement trajectories will look much more realistic thanks to the revamped air resistance calculating algorithm.

Players Look Crisp

Realism is also added to the surface of the ground and the heaviness of the turf will add to the friction induced on the ball. This will allow much more precise passes as ball will slow as it rolls on the surface according to the surface mapping. The player skill area too is given a boost up with features like lifting the ball with the toe for executing a quick shot, lifting the ball over the heel of the opponent etc. The key responses will be much more crisp and this will add more to the playability of the title. The mobile avatar of PES 2009 will have multi player capability using Bluetooth.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 gets a facelift on the visual sector too. Factors like graphical depictions of weather, lighting effects, which imitate the time of the day, revamped player models etc will ensure that PES 2009 will be a visual treat. The weather factors will be unique to each stadium and each stadium will be depicting much more details. Player animations will have added realism and distinctive moves for specific players will have much more importance. The stadiums will have LED Advertisement Boards for the first time in the XBOX, Windows and PS3 versions.

So lets wait for the release of this title.
