After taking the console world by storm and after a Guinness record breaking sales performance GTA IV, the sandbox-style action-adventure third-person shooter video game developed by Rockstar North is going to take it’s avatar on Windows machines. Rockstar Games made an official announcement today – 6th August 2008 – regarding this. The PC version is expected to be out in the markets by 18th November 2008 and 21st November 2008 in North America and Europe respectively.

Talking about this Sam Houser – the Founder of Rockstar Games – said,  “We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV. The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can’t wait for people to play it.” The PC version is expected to offer the same sheer exhilaration as its console cousins had packed with in them. The game contents are similar with a revamp going in the multiplayer part of the game. This factor of the title is getting a total uplift in the PC version. So all those GTA buffs that missed out the action due to non-availability of consoles better take note of the release date of this title.
