In an Interview Cesar Stastny –the PC Version chief of the upcoming FPS shooter from Activision – pointed out that the PC version of the much anticipated Call of Duty 5: World at War will be at par with the Console Avatars of the same title. He commented that with a gaming PC with enough juice to churn out the required polygons the game will look cool enough with higher resolutions and will produce console like experience. He also commented that since the title is being co-developed across a multitude of platforms Activision is expecting to release the title around the same time on PC, XBOX and PS3. The game was announced in early May 2008 and the title is expected to be out by the end of Activision’s current fiscal year, which ends on March 31 2009. The game is expected to deliver the same level of adrenaline filled action as its predecessor title and like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare this title too will deviate from the usual World War II settings ubiquitous to other titles in this franchise. |
