It was announced by 2K Games that Digital Extremes – the co-developer of Unreal Franchise and the developer of the third person horror/ action game Dark Sector for console – will be assisting on the development of the PS3 port of the smash hit title BioShock. Digital Extremes will be joining forces with 2K Marin, 2K Boston and 2K Australia for this project. The title for PS3 will be released in October 2008.

Bringing Digital Extremes on board allows us to continue to deliver the best experience possible to our fans.”
