Take-Two Interactive has confirmed the third installment of the Bioshock series. The game is being planned to coincide with the release of the Movie adaptation of the first Bioshock. Speaking at a quarterly financial conference call of Take-Two, their chairman Strauss Zelnick announced this information. It was only three months before that Take-Two officially announced Bioshock 2 and it is expected to be released in the last quarter of 2009. No official comment was delivered about the platforms for which Bioshock 3 is being developed.
