Resident Evil 5 a.k.a Biohazard 5 in Japan – the upcoming title in the Resident Evil Survival horror series – was announced last day as ready for release for 10 March 2009. The game is targeted at the PS3 and XBOX 360 platforms and is developed by Capcom. The title takes on the lead from its predecessor title Resident Evil 4 and players are given the opportunity to take control of the character of Chris Redfield – the hero from the previous titles. The game takes place in Africa and will feature a co-opt mode of game play with a lot of innovative combat facilities.
