Blue Dragon Plus - a spin off from the original RPG on XBOX 360 is all set to hit the DS platform in Japan on September 2008. The game is designed by Mistwalker, developed by Feelplus and Brownie Brown and Published by AQ Interactive. The game was originally expected to reach the fans in Japan in early March but the release was later postponed. The developers are yet to make any comments about the date for European and North American release of this title.
The Story Line
The original title for XBOX was a huge success among the fans due to its simplicity factor and enthralling game play. Blue Dragon Plus, which is a follow up of the original title, is made exclusively for Nintendo DS and is expected to repeat the success story of its predecessor. The story line follows the events of the XBOX title and includes many of the characters from that game.
Blue Dragon Plus continues to focus on the exploration of the universe, which was altered due to the opening of the planet’s core and is in a cubed state, in the prelude title. Life is normal and the quest for action begins when King Jibral and Zola notices the shadow of a mysterious dragon at the opening to one of the cubes. The mysterious dragon is taken as a threat and this news brings the main characters like Shu – the leading figure - Kluke, Jiro and Marumaro into the game play. They are quickly forced into the mission of discovering the source of the professed threat. The Game Play
The game play is entirely different from the original Title. Blue Dragon Plus will be a Real Time Role playing Strategy game and will enable the player to control playable characters like King Jibral, Zola, Kluke, Jiro, General Szabo, Poo Snake etc. The game play will be anchored around the shadows weaved by the characters and you will be able to create various troop formations and control them using these shadows. These troops can be used to thwart various threats.
The real time nature of the game – The original title was a turn based RPG – is expected to contribute heavily to the fun factor of the game. The environments are portrayed beautifully and the cinema scene graphics are simply awesome. The game uses a lot of complex shadow effects to offer much more impressive game play. ConclusionWe expect that the title will be a runway hit among the fans of the original Blue Dragon game even if the mode of play has been given some major alterations. |

Upon visiting he finds that the American Museum of Natural History is closed for upgrades and renovations, and some of the museum pieces are being replaced by interactive holograms due to budget costs. The actual exhibits are due to be moved to the Federal Archives at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC.
